- Hello. Forgive me if this is in the wrong group!
-
- I recently picked up an old Commodore Plus/4 computer, fully working with
- power pack and cassete player, for 5ukp. However, although I know
- something about most of the old 8 bit machines, I've got a bit of a blind
- spot where this one is concerned. I think it came out around late '84 -
- 85, but I know nothing else.
- What I'd like, if anyone can help, is a sort of overview of the machine.
- For instance, I don't know how you load tape software on it. The normal
- shift-run/stop method appears to think that there is a disk drive
- attached.
- Is it compatible with the 64, or only the 16?
-
- Is there an FAQ about the old Commodore 8bits? It would be very, very
- helpful. In case you're wondering, I collect old 8bits.
-
- Many thanks for any help.
